At Grandma’s Kidz Childcare Center, we provide a nurturing and educational environment for your children. Our hands-on approach and “get your hands dirty and explore” attitude create a fun and exciting atmosphere that encourages learning.
Daycare students can expect enriching activities as well as exceptional care throughout the day. Our curriculum encourages physical, social, and intellectual development through activities such as sports, arts and crafts, and more. Our staff treats each child as if they were one of Grandma’s kids, providing the loving environment that both children and parents are looking for.

Our Programs
Full-time Daycare
17 days or more a month
Full-time daycare is for families who need care 17 or more days a month. Monthly rates range from $1,128 for 3 to 5-year-olds to $1,244 for infants and 1-year-olds.
Part-time Daycare
Minimum of 8 days per month and up to 16 days a month
Part-time daycare works well for families who need care between 8 and 16 days a month. Daily rates start at $71 for 3 to 5-year-olds and go up to $78 for infant
Daycare services are available from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

Care for Infants Through Age 5
Grandma’s Kidz cares for infants, 1-year-olds, 2-year-olds and children ages 3 to 5. Each age group has its own weekly and monthly rate, and families can also choose a daily rate.
Registration is $35 for the first child and $10 for a second child. One week of daycare is paid at enrollment and applied when your child starts.

Creating an environment that provides security and allows kids to explore without fear.

Meet The Owner
Michaelyn Janiga
Meet Michaelyn, a special education specialist with 19 years of teaching experience! She has a passion for helping children with learning disabilities reach their full potential and create a brighter future. With her expertise and dedication, she is the perfect choice for your child’s needs.
Michaelyn holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Exceptional Education from the State University of New York College at Buffalo and a Master’s in Educational Administration. She also holds a Level III North Carolina Early Childhood Administrative credential.
Meet Our Director
Danielle Rivera
Danielle Rivera has worked in childcare since 2017 and joined Grandma’s Kidz in 2021. As Director, she supports our teachers and works with families to give every child a positive start.
Danielle earned her Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Catawba College. Like our owner, she holds a Level III North Carolina Early Childhood Administrative Credential.
